About Boshack

The secluded Boshack property is a family-run enterprise with an ‘Outback Oasis’ environment.

The property covers 250 acres, and features pristine virgin bushland, a large freshwater lake, wildlife and natural springs (pioneers waterhole still in place).

The property is 90 minutes North/East of Perth.

At Boshack you can experience the special flora and fauna of the Australian bush and wilderness in its natural state. Our on-site facilities are eco-friendly, to preserve the harmony of the local habitat.

Wattening Springs Nature Reserve of over 500 acres of unspoilt bushland, surrounds the Boshack property.

History

Twenty years ago the owner squatted on the property for five years in a small shack, which he built in the middle of the bush.

The Peace and tranquility was his way to relax, away from the pressures of the business world in the city. Whilst the hardships experienced by the early settlers to this land were many, he soon realised the bush and nature in general offered something special for the mind.

Life was lived quite simply by the early settlers, as they had very little possessions and money, building their own homes with no electricity, cooking all their meals on a campfire and living off the land.

Development

Over the years our family & amp; friends have been fortunate enough to enjoy this unique location for rest and relaxation. Getting back to nature in the outback bush has had a very positive effect on our whole well-being.

So often we were asked to share it with the rest of the world and so we have. We have endeavoured to keep the property in its natural state, thus the facilities are simple, so not to effect the natural habitat. Welcome and enjoy the experience.

Authentic Australian Cultural Experience

The early culture established by the pioneers, through developing this most recently discovered country Australia, can be partly relived at Boshack. The accommodation of Pioneers Shacks with peaceful lake views, Bush tucker food, outback activities and a bush environment, you too will be touched by nature.

While it was basic it could still be comfortable and leaves one with a very relaxed feeling.
