The Wanneroo Show is on again this year with all the fun, activities, events, displays and exhibitions that have made the show famous for more than 100 years. This year will see a range of new and exciting events and activities for your enjoyment.
The Wanneroo Agricultural Show is the premier annual community event held in the City of Wanneroo, with more than 20,000 visitors attending the show over two days. The first Wanneroo Show was opened by John Forrest, the first Premier of Western Australia in 1909 and has since that date been the major annual community event held within Wanneroo.
Activities this year include horse events, animal farm, fairground rides, competitions, entertainers, exhibitions, side shows, races, displays, food and showbags. The fireworks displays are held at 9.15pm on both Friday and Saturday evenings and are a popular highlight of the Show. This year the fireworks promise to be bigger and more spectacular than ever.
